site is specifically for the purpose of assisting
both students and teachers with information
regarding IELTS
study or teaching. The site offers a good
amount of free information, advice, ideas and
on most aspects of the IELTS language test.
The site is not affiliated in any way to the three
partners which govern the test namely The
British Council, IDP
Australia and Cambridge
University. This site is however committed
to the principles that the IELTS test were established
for and those being to test the level of English
demonstrated by a candidate on a given and set
date.
The site is
run and maintained by Paul Griffiths who although
originally from England has specialized in IELTS
teaching for several years in both New Zealand
and China. He holds an M.A. in TESOL from
Oxford Brookes,
a Diploma in TESOL from the London
Teacher Training College and a CELTA
certificate.
In addition
he has numerous testimonials from both students
and teaching establishments for work in teaching
IELTS. He has also worked in teacher training
programmes in China helping to facilitate cross-cultural
ties in teaching methodology and ideas and lectured
in British Society & Culture in Sun
Yat-Sen University in Guangdong.
The site is
maintained in his spare time and he hopes to help
distribute ideas and information to both students
and teachers to further assist in quality learning
and teaching experiences relevant to the professional
delivery of IELTS material.
The site does
not contain information relating to unethical
practices which are not in the interest of quality
learning and teaching and is free of charge to
use. You are welcome to read and use these
