Images Give the students three pictures each which could be of famous people or well known things and get them to write a story which includes all three images.  Ensure the students make preliminary notes before writing and the teacher should monitor and help with the note making.   The students then write their stories and when finished peer check each others writing for both content and errors.  Students then rewrite their stories and vote for the best one.
