Information on IELTS Teaching and Resources

This site is specifically for the purpose of assisting both  students and teachers with information regarding IELTS study or teaching.  The site offers a good amount of free information, advice, ideas and on most aspects of the IELTS language test.  The site is not affiliated in any way to the three partners which govern the test namely The British Council, IDP Australia and Cambridge University.  This site is however committed to the principles that the IELTS test were established for and those being to test the level of English demonstrated by a candidate on a given and set date.

The site is run and maintained by Paul Griffiths who although originally from England has specialized in IELTS teaching for several years in both New Zealand and China.  He holds an M.A. in TESOL from Oxford Brookes, a Diploma in TESOL from the London Teacher  Training College and a CELTA certificate. In addition he has numerous testimonials from both students and teaching establishments for work in teaching IELTS.  He has also worked in teacher training programmes in China helping to facilitate cross-cultural ties in teaching methodology and ideas and lectured in British Society & Culture in Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangdong.

The site is maintained in his spare time and he hopes to help distribute ideas and information to both students and teachers to further assist in quality learning and teaching experiences relevant to the professional delivery of IELTS material.

The site does not contain information relating to unethical practices which are not in the interest of quality learning and teaching and is free of charge to use.  You are welcome to read and use these ideas but you are asked not to copy texts as these are copyright.

The forum is closed due to spammers. Please use the email address for contact.  Thanks
